Anitserk
San Francisco, CA
Biography
Christina Chatfield, producing under the moniker Anitserk, is a recent
graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where she majored
in music synthesis. Before attending Berklee, Christina spent three
years at Emerson College majoring in Audio Production with a minor in
Marketing and Public Relations. While at Emerson, Christina worked at
their prestigious radio station 88.9 WERS as an on-air DJ for their
electronic music show, Revolutions. She began experimenting with
electronic music production at Emerson leading her to realize that her
interests lie more in producing, creating, and composing music--not only
recording it. This led her to transfer to Berklee in the summer of 2004.
Aside from her solo work, Christina also has a collaboration with fellow
Berklee producer Danny Patterson [Coupler] under the name Monocle.
Monocle’s tracks have been played regularly on WERS, and the duo has
performed live at the station and around Boston as well as in their new
home of San Francisco, CA. Monocle’s first single titled Dilleniidae and
second single titled Something to Say have both created quite a buzz
amongst the techno community. Christina is an experienced sound
designer, composer, and producer. She is proficient in several software
applications and owns multiple hardware synthesizers, and other professional equipment in her home studio. Christina will be embarking on a myriad of soundscapes with RaceCarProductions and beyond. Hold on.
