Biography
ish! serves as a tourguide through soundscapes populated by prowling positronic metallic men and lovesick flesh and blood freaks looking for a good time. Dig that mix, the whole crowd goes Bionic. His record crate is a petri dish; clicks, idm, hip hop, electro, house, sleaze, rock, latin, lounge, and broken beats germinating and sprouting into bulbous, shivering organisms. Heavy on the low end. Jacked to the fingertips. Drenched in a layer of sweat and porous like raw meat. This is sticky business.

ish! got his start playing two step and drum and bass at events in Cincinnati and the surrounding areas. His departure to Chicago marked a transformation in his sound and technique, as well as a foray into promoting and design. He kept busy, with a residency at Coobah and promoting his "nice and easy" Sundays at Betty's Blue Star Lounge, not to mention playing alongside many Chicago greats such as Jesse de la Pena just to name one. During this time his sound became more polished and eclectic, a fusion of all things thick and broken. Recently, he is still residing in Chicago and has continued his active DJing schedule. Keep an eye out for the boy with the big grin and the tricks up his sleeve, he's going to be around for a bit yet.
