AERO News - Summer
We have been very busy around the office recently with a flurry of new releases and new talent. Most importantly we have an amazing new release coming from new comers Die Haustiere from Udine, Italy coming out on July 30th exclusively on Beatport. It also includes an absolutely incredible remix from Yasuharu Motomiya from Tokyo, Japan and a special surprise remix from Evan Scott.

We have also ushered in some new talent. Teef, from Dayton, Ohio, has been sending us absolute stormers. He will, without a doubt, be one to watch over the next year.

We also have some other new offerings on the way soon including:

Mossmoss - Self-Control EP
Evan Scott - Sphere Session One w/ remixes by Teef and The Librarian
Teef - The Substitute

And don't even get us started on what is coming this Fall. Look out.

Die Haustiere - Interview
Die Haustiere We are well into the heat of summer and have an amazing new release coming from new-comers Die Haustiere from Udine, Italy entitled "Carpiato." It is scheduled for release on July 30th. With the coming release we wanted you all to know more about our new friends, Enrico Zaina and Marco Coccola, from across the Atlantic so we interviewed them [in both English and Italian.] Enjoi.

1. And how is the techno community in Italy these days?
The techno community in Italy has only stirred in Bologna Milano and Rome but it proceeds very slowly. There is not much of a techno community in Italy anymore.

2. How did you all get into techno?
We were made aware of techno at the age of 15/16 thanks to nearby Germany. After our first rave, we immediately fell in love with the techno movement there in the 90’s. In Germany, techno was more important than rock music.

3. How do you approach making music? What is your main inspiration to start working on a track?
The inspiration for various tracks depends upon our mood. If we are in a good mood, the song writes itself. However, if we are depressed it slowly proceeds. Also some beers. And why not? It helps with inspiration.

4. Who are some of the people that you would say that have influenced your current sound the most?
The producers and DJs that have influenced our sound the most are without a doubt the greats: Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, and Sven Vath.

5. Where do you see yourselves as musicians and humans in about ten years? Any wild dreams?
We hope to expand on our passion for music with hopes to achieve a middle to upper level in the techno community so as to transmit our sound throughout the world. We also hope to live well with a girl and perhaps start families.
The wild dream would be to perform with our idols Richie, Ricardo, and Sven. Perhaps thrown by RaceCarProductions?
