As an unknown surprise, Mossmoss is back so soon without any control. He concocts a release that was spawned upon the grit under our feet and from the depths of an underground that very few have visited.

As driving as it is percussive, "Assault and Vinegar" is more of an assault on your body than your senses. This is a lethal, laser gun attack that has build ups to do just that, reach for the lasers. Be careful with this one, it is not to be taken lightly.

Mossmoss returns with the single off of Self Control, "Faced," a playful yet sinister romp. Filled with jaw-clenching energy and soul-driven percussion, "Faced" is sure to kick in well before the cryptic vocals come out of your pocket. You only need one.

Realise that this is not your usual weekly cleaning lady, this particular young lady leaves your house much dirtier and breaks all of your glasses. This is a techno vacuum capable of turning a dancefloor on its head with calculated frenzies of percussion and a synthline that leaves but just won’t quit. This “house cleaner” may just leave you dirtier.

Finally, Mossmoss closes his romp as muscles clench and tighten like a sedative that stimulates rather than tranquilizes. "Muscle Calm" doesn’t quit there, it takes over your whole body. This track is an instant classic that shows Mossmoss’ relentless dark and impulsive groove capable of out-performing any peak hour track; however, this isn’t just a DJ tool. This is everything techno should be, inside and out.

Mossmoss brings a breath of fresh air to a club scene that is usually bent on taking itself too seriously. Scottish born, Mattie Bowen has been essential in the growth of techno and actively inspires audiences through art visually and aurally. His pursuits all deeply exude a level of class, compassion, and charisma. His own breed of minimal techno born from the bedrooms and studios of San Francisco offers a hint of a vast repertoire to come that inspires the mind and body simultaneously. Mossmoss was one of three artists featured on Race Car Productions presents Volume 1, their virgin effort. Since then he released an absolute powerhouse of a remix for Monocle's Dilleniidae which stole dancefloors the world over in 2007. With a wide open career in both art and music, and a new EP on Alland Byallo’s NLMX net label, Mossmoss will become a household name.
