Born from solitude and heartbreak, "Onosphere" is a sketch of a pain that we all go through at least once in life. Evan Scott ventured through it at 5AM with a synthesizer and a bottle of liquor as a guide. What came from that early morning was a song that is as abrasive as it is soothing. It's as if the hope that the synthesizer sings is laid to rest in a pit of despair. Think of this as the anthem of the heart and the symphony of the broken, only with the beauty of the morning mist enveloping it all.

Secondly we have "Ono," a stripped down version of its predecessor, that digs deeper into the infinite melancholy of the muse behind the synthesizer. It is but a mere reflection of the original but it swarms where the other wails. At times lush and at other times filled with despair, it drives a splintered shard straight through the heart, more piercing than the original and more beautiful.

Offering a completely redefined version of Evan Scott's original, where Evan's original reflects heartbreak, The Librarian's version gives us a glimpse into the fear and hate that accompany the heart. Whether in lust or love, the eeriness of the synthesizers in The Librarian's 5AM scene, swim willingly into the same pit of despair that spawned the original. Love is death and fear is the ultimate form of hate.

The final interpretation is of the heartbroken boy that easily picks himself up after a fall. Teef's remix is that boy dancing two hours after he wept. It is an absolute anthem with a synth line that is bent with soul and percussion that is meticulously sequenced for maximum body moving potential. There is yet a glimpse of melancholy in the way the synthesizer weeps however the deep bass and thump of the kick tell tales of better days to come. Hope is around the corner.
