As quirky as it is sexy, Hats & Cats is a lovely introduction to The Fruhstucks sound. With shuffling beats, neurotic synth stabs, and anxiety-ridden vocals this is equally as effective on the radio as it is on the dancefloor. Moreover, it is a great synopses of the groups upcoming album. Be ready.

Phillipp Wolgast provides an exquisite rendition of Hats & Cats focusing much more on the darker side of the kitten in his remix. All of the sinister facets of the original with a heavier, darker groove and guitars. The production is exquisite and destined for greatness. We seriously can't stop playing this one and expect you won't as well.

Evan Scott just wants you to put your hands up and clap, soul clap! Evan Scott's melodic and deep version entitled Cat Bus Remix (a reference to the seminal Japanese children's film Hayao Miyazaki's My Neighbor Totoro no doubt) is filled to the brim with mesmerizing delay and deep grooves. So deep, in fact, you could lose yourself in them. Stand up, clap, and wait for the melody. It's a dreamer.

Where Phillipp Wolgast focused on the Black Cat, Race Car Productions' own bernstein focuses on the Black Hat. It's not hard to imagine bernstein strolling through the lights of Tokyo with his black Top-Hat on stroking his moustache. This one is dirty and experimental, children, with stuttered percussion and the most enormous of bass hits, this one is sure to scare you into devotion. Absolute.

The Fruhstucks (from the German word “Frühstück”) is the new creation by two artists linked by the same interest but divided by the same geographic reality: one of them lives in the Mediterranean Coast and the other one lives in the Canary Islands. As a very effective couple, The Fruhstucks performs a dynamic composition of electronic Dark Wave sounds adding several analog voices and chords to their fuzzy network. Although their newness they have already captured the attention of several international artists from the visual realm to the fashion industry like Emma de Sèze, Philipp Wolgast, Tania Schwarzt Brondo “LuluPlay”, Vincent Oliver, The Notes, Tyler T.
